Pastor Delores Spencer is an anointed speaker of God’s word, a prayer warrior, and a faith-filled servant who believes in the power of prayer, fasting, and family. From a young age, she was taught the reverence of God by her grandmother, who instilled in her a deep foundation of faith. At just 12 years old, she was baptized, marking the beginning of a lifelong journey of ministry and devotion.
Born in St. Catherine, Jamaica, as an Independence baby and a silver spoon, Pastor Delores always knew her steps were ordered by the Lord. While serving at another church, an elder from the Church of God in Christ recognized her divine anointing and ordained her, affirming what God had already placed upon her life. It was no surprise when she was led to Saint Catherine Spiritual Baptist Ministries, where she was later installed as one of its revered pastors.
Her passion for the Word is matched only by her heart for people. She is deeply committed to ministering to the less fortunate, ensuring that all who cross her path experience God’s love, grace, and provision. Known for praying without hesitation, she never allows a moment of need to go unanswered—lifting every concern before the throne of God the moment it arises.
Her grandmother’s words still echo in her spirit, reminding her of her divine purpose: "God didn’t create you to sing and dance for the heathen." With those words, she was taught that her gifts were meant for the glory of God alone. Carrying this lesson in her heart, she has raised her three children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, ensuring that faith remains the foundation of their lives.
Today, she continues to serve, intercede, and uplift, fully surrendered to her prayer: "God, You choose my destiny."
