Scripture-
“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:32 (KJV)
Devotion-
Hope you’re still going strong and staying focused on your intention for this 40-day fast! Today, we’re diving into forgiveness.
Be honest—are you holding onto unforgiveness toward someone? We’ve all messed up countless times, yet God forgives us over and over again. If He can do that for us, shouldn’t we extend that same grace to others? Forgiveness isn’t just about them—it’s about freeing your heart, too.
Reflection & Sharing-
Who do you need to forgive? Take a step today—whether it’s reaching out, saying a prayer, or just deciding to let go of the bitterness.

I know it is late, our bodies are feeling like it is 9:20 pm but our clocks says otherwise. I read the devotional today and it was about forgiveness..... Darg!!! Forgiveness is sometimes a bitter pill to swallow but it is one that we have been given instructions by Father to do over and over again. Coming to mind when Yeshua was asked how many times we should forgive and he said 70 times 7.... Okay in my logical mind I said... Oh 490 times and then I don't have to do it anymore.... Yeaaahhh.... Father soon showed me that it was 70 times 7 for each situation with each person... My logic again said to Father but I will never stop forgiving!!! The answer I got was.... Exactly. The "Our Father" prayer found in Matthew 6 says something that totally freaked me out when I finally stopped rattling it off and meditated on the words.... In 2 places.... Verse 12 and verse 14, Yeshua says ... In verse 12... Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors and in verse 14, he says... If we forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses..... Darg.... So guess what...this is not only a commandment of God but it is reciprocal. If I don't forgive, Father will not forgive me? Something for us to think about. From personal experience, I can tell you.... When I forgive, I feel lighter... I feel better... Try it.... You will be the better for it. Love you all.... Be blessed.
As I reflect on myself today, my spirit feels clear. I used to be the type to cut people off in a heartbeat, if you pissed me off, you were dead to me. But now, I’m cognizant of my behavior and make an effort to seek peace before the sun goes down on my wrath. I’m grateful to God for my spiritual growth and to my aunt, who always reminded me that I needed to let go of the spirit of unforgiveness.
As imperfect creatures we have to learn to forgive others and ourselves. Once Good has wiped our slate clean we tend to allow old thoughts in on mistakes He has already forgiven us for.
