Scripture-

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV

Devotional-

Life is unpredictable. One minute, everything seems to be falling into place, and the next, it feels like it’s falling apart. It’s easy to trust God when things are going well, when prayers are answered, doors open, and peace feels tangible. But what about when nothing makes sense? That’s where walking by faith comes in.

The hymn "Throughout the Changing Scenes of Life" hits differently when you’ve been through some stuff. It’s a reminder that God is constant, even when life isn’t. Whether you’re in a season of favor or fighting through the fire, He’s still right there. Psalm 34 makes it clear: God encamps around us, protecting and delivering, even when we can’t feel it.

Walking by faith means trusting His promises over your feelings. It’s believing that He’s working behind the scenes when you’re only seeing chaos. It’s choosing to worship in the storm and declaring His goodness when you’re still waiting for the breakthrough.

Reflection & Sharing-

Are you walking through a difficult season where you struggle to see God's hand? Let faith lead the way.

So many painful thoughts
Travel through my mind
And I wonder how
I will make it through this time
But I trust you
Lord it?s not easy
Sometimes the pain in my life
Makes you seem far away
But i?ll trust you
I need to know you?re here
Through the tears and the pain
Through the heartache and rain
i?ll trust you
Everything that I see
Tells me not to believe
But i?ll trust you lord
You have never failed me
My past still controls me
Will this hurt ever leave?
I can only trust you
No one else like you do
So many painful thoughts
Travel through my mind
And I wonder how
I will make it through this time
But I trust you
Lord it?s not easy
Sometimes the pain in my life
Makes you seem far away
But i'll trust you
I need to know you?re here
Through the tears and the pain
Through the heartache and rain
