Scripture-
"This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you." John 15:12 (KJV)
Devotion-
Now, I know you’re familiar with the song “Never Had a Love Like This Before.” This song speaks about someone experiencing a deep romantic connection. But Jesus’ love for us goes beyond any romantic love—it’s an intimate, divine connection.
Ooh... the standard He has set is high: “As I have loved you.”
Jesus’ love for us is sacrificial, patient, forgiving, and unconditional. He laid down His life for us when we were undeserving. His love isn’t based on conditions or how we treat Him—it flows from who He is. And He calls us to love one another in that very same way.
Let Christ’s love flow through you, making it possible to extend grace, mercy, and kindness, even when it’s hard. His Spirit empowers us to love beyond our natural ability.
Reflection & Sharing-
Who will you extend love to over the next 40 days and beyond?

My prayer today is to ask the Most High to show me opportunities to show love to someone who needs it. We never know how much a kind word or gesture can have a positive impact on someone.
Compassion over Understanding! I will be more compassionate, even when I don’t understand why people say or do certain things. Jesus, my prayer today is to be more like You—showing love to everyone I meet. I’ll let my light shine so that others can see the good in me and give glory to God in heaven.
What comes to mind are these questions... How can I love Father whom I do not see, yet I do not love my brother that I do see? How can I eat to overfull and not wonder if my brother or sister has eaten? When I go into my closet, do I ever wonder about the person waiting to be blessed by the clothes and shoes I am no longer wearing? Lord, please forgive me. Lord, please remind me that love is a doing and telling word....yes Lord a verb. Lord, teach me to love until there is no more me and only you!!!
If I can help somebody as I pass along then my living shall not be in vain.
With help there's love.
